Our brand-new series, Say Yes to the Dress Lancashire, introduces us to Ava Rose Hamilton, an award-winning family-run bridal boutique in the heart of the Lancashire countryside. With stylist Gok stepping in to help, the dedicated and passionate consultants work with their nervous brides to find the perfect gown, so they feel confident and beautiful on their big day. And if the perfect gown doesn’t exist – Gok will work with the team to create it.
Every appointment has its own challenges and Gok will stop at nothing to overcome them. There’s the bride whose mum’s opinion has floored her self-confidence, the bride who is dreading seeing her body in a big white dress, the straight-talking entourage who all think they know best – but are too busy disagreeing with each other to be of any help to the bride, and the stressed-out mum who has already followed her indecisive daughter to countless fruitless appointments. Whatever the story, Gok’s mission is to make every bride feel incredible. Expect laughs, tears, plenty of family drama and a huge dose of northern heart.
