Our Values

We are authentic, inclusive and empowering.

Authentic and Trusted

We are best known for authenticity and trust - in our programmes and in our relationships.

We have built a strong reputation in the industry for our open approach to everyone we collaborate with. Commissioners trust us to always deliver and our contributors speak warmly about their experience of working with us.

We reflect the lives, hopes and dreams of our audience with compelling and authentic storytelling that draws big audiences again and again.

Inclusive and Diverse

Our warm culture is as welcoming to our newest and most junior team-members as it is to our long term staff and returning freelancers.

We are committed to making our industry more equitable and we know greater diversity makes our company better and our content more engaging.

We strive to put fairness at the heart of everything we do and we are working hard to make sure we employ more people from backgrounds which have traditionally been under-represented in our industry.

We have an inclusive culture - where there is no place for bullying or typecasting and where everyone has a voice.

Empowering and Inspiring

Television can be a challenging industry to work in. So we put lots of time and energy into supporting our teams.

For twenty years we have helped people build brilliant careers in television and we are so proud of our colleagues' achievements. We work across many genres and love helping people transfer their skills to different types of shows.

We're always thinking of things to make sure True North is a happy, healthy workplace.

Every Monday sees a Welcome Meeting for new starters and we have a Buddy System to help people settle in. There are regular company updates on new opportunities and a £100 raffle when we win a new commission. We can't wait to get back into the office for our Taco Tuesdays, Waga Wednesdays and Pizza Fridays. And we throw legendary Christmas Parties with our True North band!

Our Policies

True North has a robust and transparent set of policies in place to make sure that everything we do is in accordance with our values.

You can find our key policies here. All our other policies are available by contacting our CEO, Norma Wisnevitz nwisnevitz@truenorth.tv
