Killer on the Run

David Bieber is often described as one of Britain’s most dangerous prisoners. On Boxing Day 2003 he murdered PC Ian Broadhurst, the first police officer to be shot dead on the UK mainland for 10 years. Killer on the Run  tells the story of PC Broadhurst’s murder, the large scale manhunt that was launched to catch Bieber, and the trial that led to his eventual imprisonment.
