The fourth series of Forensics: Catching The Killer tells the story of eight new murder cases – each one resolved, thanks in part, to the role of forensic science.

We start the series with two feature length specials covering the high profile cases of the Pembrokeshire murders and the murder of Sarah Payne – both of which rocked the nation.

Other cases covered in this series include the murders of Carol Park, Paige Doherty, Lynette White, Elaine Doyle and Teresa De Simone, plus the investigation that led to the eventual capture of the Birmingham spree killer.

Forensics: Catching The Killer returns for Series Five to tell the stories of ten individual murder cases, each that has forensic investigation at their heart.

Across the series each case will be unpacked in detail to discover how different branches of forensic science were pivotal in helping to catch a killer.
