Devon and Cornwall

As millions of holidaymakers headed to England’s south west in search of sandy beaches, surf and sunshine this summer, the new series of Devon and Cornwall returns to spend time with the people who call these amazing counties home.

From farmers and fishermen to artisans and adventurers, this series takes us from the heather-clad moors to golden sandy beaches to celebrate more of the people who live and work in these proud counties.

No matter whether you are cream or jam first, give your fill only on Channel Four.

The new series starts at 8pm Friday 27th May or stream the whole series on All4.

From the beautiful lofty heights of the moors, to the spectacular coastlines, this series celebrates those who live and work in the most South Westerly corner of Britain.

Meeting farmers, fishermen, those holding on tight to ancient trades, and folk with a sense of adventure, Devon and Cornwall is a series to sit back, relax and escape into.

From riding the windswept waters of their coasts to rambling across the vast expanses of their moors, this series celebrates the very best of what life offers in Britain’s South Westerly corner and meets the people lucky enough to call Devon and Cornwall home.

In this latest series, we meet those at the top of their game, whether it’s competing in gig rowing championships or presenting their best livestock at country shows.

And then there are those that want to ensure traditions live on; from ancient rites on common land, to preserving medieval buildings for years to come, and even passing the age-old knowledge of steam power to the next generation.
