To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Doncaster Locomotive Works, this film traces the history of the plant, and some of its legendary engines like the Mallard and the Flying Scotsman. Bringing together rich archive and the stories of the men who worked with the engines throughout the plant’s history, we learn the story of the development of the railway, and the decision to bring the main works to Doncaster.
