What do you do at True North?

Series Producer who has made shows for  C4, C5, Discovery and MTV.

What shows are you particularly proud of that you have worked on at True North and elsewhere?

This would be like asking someone to choose their favourite child! I tend to be proud of everything that I have made because ultimately the end product is always a result of hours of hard work,  tons of commitment and lots of tears and laughter by a team of incredibly talented people

What’s your favourite bit of your job?

I love having to find ways to navigate my teams around the ever-changing demands and challenges of production where no 2 days are ever the same

What show would you most like to make if you could make anything in the world?

I’d jump at the chance to make a series about Gay Icons through history from Garland to Gaga and everyone in between

Anything you feel really strongly about in the industry?

Over the years it’s been great to see the progressive change to more commissions coming out of London and it would be great to see this continue to grow and become even bigger. This would mean existing talent could be nurtured and  developed and new talent may be tempted to come and work here.

Anything else you would like to tell us about yourself?

I still have all my journals that I wrote between the ages of 12-30,  one day I might try and turn them into an award winning drama ….or they might just remain in my cellar!
