Two of True North’s titles have been nominated at the Royal Television Society’s North-West Awards.

The Mystery of the Man on the Moor, which tells the story of the police investigation into a body found on a lonely Pennine mountain, is nominated in the Best Single Documentary category. The Yorkshire Dales and The Lake District, which brings a new perspective to life in two of Britain’s best love National Parks, is shortlisted in the Best Factual Series section.

The winners are announced at an Awards Dinner on November the 11^th in Manchester.

Creative Director Andrew Sheldon – the Executive Producer of both titles –  said, ‘We’re proud to be part of the North’s TV industry on both sides of the Pennines and really pleased to receive these nominations’.

The Mystery of the Man on the Moor also won Best Television Programme in the 2017 O2 Media Awards.
