True North shortlisted for trio of Prolific North Awards

True North Productions has been shortlisted for three Prolific North Awards, it was announced today.
Once again the company will compete in the ‘Best Independent Production Company’ category and will hope to do the double by scooping the prestigious prize for a second year running after success in 2017.
Two True North titles will also go head to head at this year’s awards; A New Life In The Sun (Channel 4) and The Yorkshire Dales and The Lakes (More4) were both given the nod in the ‘Broadcasting Programme – News & Factual’ category.
The Prolific North Awards celebrate excellence and exceptional talent in the creative and media industries across the North.
The ceremony will be hosted by comedian Justin Moorhouse and takes place on Thursday 24th May at The Principle, Manchester.
