True North has been nominated for a Broadcast Award in the category of Best Daytime Programme at the 2017 Broadcast Awards for its Channel 4 series A New Life in the Sun.

 A New Life in the Sun follows brave expats as they say goodbye to the UK and begin new lives and businesses in the sun.

 The twenty-five part series was commissioned for Channel 4 by Head of Daytime David Sayer and is distributed internationally by Passion Distribution.

True North production teams spent seven months with the ex-pat entrepreneurs in Spain and France and were by their side every step of the way as they embarked on their new lives – from packing up their homes and heading to Europe to renovating their businesses and welcoming their new customers.

True North is now making the second series to transmit early 2017.
