True North added a Prolific North Award to its list of reasons to be cheerful last night, picking up the Best Independent Production Company accolade at the packed ceremony in Manchester.

Joined in the category by fellow nominees including LA Productions, Ten Alps-owned Blakeway Productions and several others, True North was singled out as the worthy winner for what the judges described as an “incredible journey” over the past decade.

Joined on stage by a strong True North contingent, Andrew Sheldon accepted the award on behalf of the company, thanking the hard work and creativity of the whole team for their contributions.

True North co-founder and Creative Director Jess Fowle added: “Our thanks to Prolific North and the panel of judges for singling us out for this award. It really has been a fantastic past 12 months of growth and success, and it’s great to have those achievements recognised by the creative sector here in the North.”
