The 2008 Richard Whiteley Memorial Bursary is officially launched on Wednesday 30th April.
Now in its second year, the bursary was created in memory of late Countdown presenter Richard Whiteley.
Hosted by Channel 4 in conjunction with True North and Screen Yorkshire, the nine-month paid placement is open to graduates and non graduates. Promoted as a ‘Hope in Hell’ for aspiring TV researchers, the scheme offers one person a researcher training position in production and development at True North.
